Dear Ms. Oliver:

As Governor of the State of Illinois, it is a pleasure to congratulate you as you celebrate 66 years in business.

For the past 66 years, the Palm Tavern has been an active participant in the business community in the Chicago area. Your success over the years has contributed to the economic vitality of your community as well as our state. For a number of years following its opening in 1933, The Palm Tavern was a meeting place for many of the legends in jazz and rhythm and blues music. It continues to be a historic landmark that preserves memorabilia of famous customers and patrons.

The longevity and growth of your business are derived from a strong commitment to sound business practices, service and the dedication of your employees.

Best wishes for continued success and a memorable celebration.

Sincerely,

GEORGE H. RYAN

Governor
